Nurse Comer is an independent consultant who maintains a full time presence in our office. Nurse Comer graduated from Columbia University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Nursing with a B.S. Degree in Nursing. During her practicing nursing career, she was a staff nurse at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York, New York in various units including neonatal ICU, Assistant Director of Nursing at Memorial Medical Center, Savannah Georgia, Clinical Instructor of Operating Room and Orthopedic Nursing at Northeastern Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, Head Nurse in the Hemodialysis and Renal Transplant Unit at Francis Delafield Hospital, New York and staff nurse in labor, delivery and post-partum care at Cooper Hospital, Camden, New Jersey. She is a member of American Nurses Association, the American Association of Nephrology Nurses, American Urological Association, Association of Physicians and Nurses, New York County Nurses Association and the Legal Nurse Association.
Nurse Comer assists the attorneys in the review and analysis of medical records to determine liability and causation of damages in medical malpractice and serious personal injury cases. She performs medical research and may assist the attorneys in locating qualified medical experts whose knowledge and experience is pertinent to the specific facts of each case. In addition Nurse Comer may help the attorneys prepare chronologies, time lines, medical illustrations and other demonstrative exhibits for use at trial.
